Halloween Celebrations at Kwik Fit Insurance
Uddingston-based Kwik Fit Insurance got into the Halloween spirit and enjoyed its most extravagant dress up day to date on Wednesday.
Almost all of the 950 staff donned a host of ghoulish wigs and horrifying costumes and took part in a range of activities throughout the day.
Celebrity look-a-likes also turned out in their droves with Sponge-Bob square pants, the Smurfs, Superwoman and even Amy Winehouse mingling with farmyard animals, not forgetting Michael Jackson and the cast of his Thriller video.
Charlotte Hanna, Events and Internal Communications Manager took part in the day dressing up in the Arabian Nights theme prompted by her department’s pending visit to Dubai, which they earned through a recent company incentive.
She said: “The Halloween dress-up day was a fantastic event for all of our people. Everyone took part and got into disguise - some scary, some just hilarious - there certainly were some fantastic costumes. We gave away more than £650 in prize money but the judging was really difficult this year as everyone had made an enormous effort. In the end, our Outbound team Saturn, who dressed as the Smurfs, picked up the £300 top prize.”
